PubPass® 2023 Passport Cover
CLIENT: PubPass® - America’s Favorite Craft Beer Passport
The PubPass® passport gets you one free beer at 25 of the best bars and breweries in your area. Books expire at the end of December, with a new cover design each year, making them a collectible item. Inside, just like a passport, each location has a dedicated page that gets stamped after you receive your free pour.
Initial Sketches
Several different options were presented, inspired by vintage beer labels and vintage parks/nature illustrations.
Final Design
The book utilizes a flat black cover with gold and silver foil printing to evoke the feel of a passport. The design draws its ovular shape and decorative linework from vintage beer labels, with fresh illustrated nods to beer, hops and barley. The name, year, and instantly-recognizable PubPass® deer head are given emphasis, accompanied by the brand line, “America’s Favorite Craft Beer Passport”.
