CLIENT: Coolibar® - Sun Protection You Wear®

Renowned golf instructor, David Leadbetter, has been an outspoken advocate for sun protection since losing his father to melanoma in 1998. His passion for sun-safe advocacy sparked a partnership with Coolibar®—the leader in UPF 50+ sun-protective fabric technology. I created a logo and signature mark to support his new collection, consisting exclusively of apparel and accessories designed specifically to protect golfers on the course from harmful UVA/UVB rays.

Plays Well with Others

The DL logo was designed to fit harmoniously with existing Coolibar® garment trims that remain present on signature collection apparel. The letter D subtly evokes the shape of a golf club. The signature mark is a highly refined version of David’s actual signature, and is used in supporting collateral and on David’s golf tips within the collection’s hang tags.
